Bormanik College located in 3rd Mile Upper Shillong was established in the year 1991, is the first College in the areas of Upper Shillong. Standing right below a point called the sunset view point, a popular viewing point to glance at the beautiful array of the sunset. The College has been growing over the years academically and also as an Educational Institution. It has also seen its fair share of hardships and struggle to get to where it is now.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all the students of Higher secondary and under graduate courses of 2024-2025. Our aim is to mould our student to be self confident and pragmatic such that when they enter life after their studies, they face various challenges with courage , conviction and success.
Students must exhibit exemplary behavior even outside the college. Directly or indirectly, knowingly or unknowingly, they should in no way bring disrepute to the college of their study. I impress upon all young learning community to emerge as proud and worthy citizens.
